An 8 Week Study on Coherence, Wellbeing, and Stress
An 8-week PhD research study exploring coherence, resilience, and stress—built for the people who carry the most.
Stress doesn't stay in one place. This study looks at what happens when you support your whole self instead of just one symptom.

A Pattern Worth Studying
The people I work with are highly capable and deeply committed. They're leaders, healthcare workers, first responders, caregivers, educators, and entrepreneurs—the people everyone else leans on.
Here's what I find most striking: chronic stress rarely stays in one place.
It often shows up in the body as fatigue, poor sleep, digestive issues, hormonal imbalance, or chronic pain. At the same time, people feel emotionally drained, mentally scattered, disconnected from relationships, or distant from what once gave them purpose.
The symptoms look different for everyone. But the underlying pattern looks remarkably similar: the systems that support our wellbeing stop working together as well as they used to.
That observation is what led me to coherence.
What is Coherence?
Coherence simply means your different systems—physical, emotional, mental, relational, and spiritual—are working together instead of pulling against each other.
When you have it, you tend to feel more resilient, clear, adaptable, and grounded. When it's disrupted, stress ripples across many areas of life at once.
So this study asks one question:
What happens when you intentionally build greater coherence across every dimension of your well-being?
Who This Is For
This study is designed for people living and working under sustained pressure, including: Executive and organizational leaders, First responders, Healthcare workers, Caregivers, Educators, and Entrepreneurs.
If others rely on you, and you sense stress showing up in more than one part of your life, this study was created with you in mind.
Over eight weeks, you'll follow a guided Coherence Protocol covering:
-
Nervous system regulation and resilience
-
Heart-brain coherence and stress recovery
-
Emotional processing and resilience
-
Awareness, perception, and mental flexibility
-
Identity, beliefs, and personal narratives
-
Meaning, purpose, and values alignment
-
Relational and collective coherence
-
Integration and sustainable wellbeing
What You'll Explore
What To Expect
You'll complete simple assessments on stress, resilience, emotional wellbeing, meaning, and connection. You'll also have the option to track physiological markers like heart rate variability (HRV), so you can see your own patterns of stress and recovery over time.
Participation is voluntary, and eligibility details will be shared after you sign up.
Beyond the research itself, my deepest hope is this: that you walk away with practices that support your day-to-day wellness, long after the study ends.
